Several years ago after my mom went into assisted living, my family and I faced a tough decision regarding what to do with her house.  Through family friends, we found Sonya and her spectacular property management team.  At the time, the market to sell the house was soft but the rental market was strong.  With Sonya and Jeanette’s help, we put the house on the rental market. We never had to worry about having quality renters that would take good care of the house.  When Sonya or Jeanette told me that rental candidates were good to go, they were.  The few maintenance issues that would arise occasionally were always quickly resolved.

From the time we entered the rental market, it was always with an eye on one day being able to sell the house.  Sonya’s understanding of our objectives was key to what to do and when.  In order to enhance the home’s marketability, we took on a number of remodeling upgrades over the last few years.  Sonya and Rocky optimized where to invest in homeowner upgrades to ensure they would pay off.  Rocky and his team completely rebuilt the bathrooms and Sonya spent as much time as I needed to assist in selecting cabinets and fixtures.  The bathroom remodeling project was completed within budget and on schedule.  New renters were signed up and on contract as soon as the house was ready. 

The next remodeling project was equally important as we decided to completely remodel the kitchen and breakfast area.  Sonya once again spent quality time helping me select cabinets, appliances, fixtures, flooring and paint colors.  Rocky and his team gutted the kitchen down to the wall studs and subfloor.  As this remodeling project neared completion, Sonya kicked in to gear by ensuring the marketing was in place such that we could maximize the spring/summer buying season.  She provided pricing for comparable properties in the area and guided me in coming to a decision on the asking price.  Once again, Sonya’s expertise prevailed.  Within 24 hours of the house going on the market, we had a contract for 100% of the asking price. 

We couldn’t have accomplished the home rental, remodeling projects and selling of the home without Sonya, Rocky, Jeanette and the entire team at Eagle Property and their collective attention to detail.  Their turnkey approach to assisting homeowners with property rentals, remodeling projects and sales is exactly what we needed.  I would do it all over again and wouldn’t change a thing.
